It won’t be hard to get a hang of using it, neither to find storage space or easily carry it wherever you go, say hiking expeditions, for example, where you might be in need of quick edge resharpening to prepare a meal or get out of a sticky situation. It comes with an ABS plastic base and a lid that let you keep the components organized so that you won’t lose any of the pieces, and that makes storage easier and more convenient as well.

There are no actual limitations to its use seeing how the set, which contains 2 sets of high-alumina ceramic stones, can actually be used on everything from flat to plain to serrated knives, as well as walls, punches, and fish darts.
The fine stones provide a professional edge finish, while the medium-grit pieces are suited for more difficult sharpening work on blades with advanced dullness. The keyed holes it features enable you to set accurate angles (30 or 40 degrees) for the sharpening process.

There are 4 steps to go through when using it. During the first step, place the medium-grit stones with the corners facing each other in the keyed holes. By passing the blade against them, all the excess metal will be quickly eliminated due to their roughness.
Moving on to the second step, you must change the position of the medium-grit stones, making them face each other with their flat sides, and pass the blade against these surfaces a couple of times. During the third step, place the fine stones into the holes and have their corner sides facing each other. Simply rub the blade against these surfaces, and move on to the fourth step where you place the fine stones with their flat sides facing each other.
You must also pass the blade against these surfaces, and the knife is now good to use once again as it is sharpened. When you’re done using it, scrub the and let them air dry.
